The planetarium at Stardome Observatory & Planetarium in Auckland has recently undergone a cove lighting upgrade. Working with lighting designer Wayne Ferguson from photicforms, Moth Light supplied the Gracie Grazer 25 to achieve a seamless 360-degree cove effect that transforms the audience experience.
Gracie Grazer 25 is an RGBW LED strip system with built-in lens optics, selected for its ability to bend on two axes and deliver precise wall grazing control.
With Casambi wireless controls, the system enables effortless programming of colour scenes and dynamic animations, opening new possibilities for immersive planetarium shows. The result is a versatile, future-ready lighting solution that enhances both functionality and atmosphere at this iconic Auckland landmark.
