Set above the northern shore of Lake Taupō, this award-winning home by Fraser Cameron Architects captures expansive lake and mountain views. Built by Beechtree Building—winners of the Master Builders House of the Year award for the Bay of Plenty/Central Plateau in the $2–$4 million category—the home balances natural textures with thoughtful detailing throughout.
Moth Light supplied a tailored selection of architectural luminaires to support the clean lines and calm atmosphere of the interiors. The Sweet 16 rod-suspended profile was powder-coated in black to complement the palette and structure of the space. Flat Freddie 14 is recessed into the kitchen ceiling, while Where’s Ben 14 is discreetly installed within pelmets. In the living room, a circular EOS luminaire floats above, providing both a sculptural centrepiece and soft ambient light.
