At the Arches Apartment development in Mission Bay, Auckland, Moth Light supplied and configured the Richie Rail 17 illuminated handrail to provide safe and seamless exterior stair lighting.
The RR17 handrail was powdercoated in Duralloy Flaxpod Matt finish and fitted with a 7W 3000K IP67 LED strip, delivering a warm architectural glow that complements the building’s refined coastal aesthetic.
Two bespoke handrail systems were manufactured for this project, each made to measure and configured to suit the stair arrangements. Using RR17 variable angle joiners and 90-degree joiners, the installation achieved a continuous, durable, and low-maintenance lighting solution.
