Te Ara
Ātea

Te Ara Ātea is a new cultural landmark in the heart of Rolleston, designed as a library, community centre, and performance facility. At the centre of this modern civic hub, Moth Light provided lighting solutions that enhance both safety and architectural intent.

Our Richie Rail 18 illuminated timber handrail was installed to the main stair, integrating a 9.6W 3000K “Spec Series Slim” LED strip. The result is a seamless line of light that delivers compliant illumination levels, ensuring accessibility while contributing to the refined interior aesthetic.

This project showcases how Moth Light’s specialist illuminated handrails can provide functional, code-compliant lighting while blending discreetly into public architecture.
