The Moth Light team is pleased to select the Child Cancer Foundation as the recipient of our 2024 Christmas donation. Every week in Aotearoa, three families receive the devastating news that their child has cancer. Child Cancer Foundation steps in to provide vital personalised support to over 1,100 families navigating this journey.
Each newly diagnosed family is connected with a dedicated Family Support Coordinator who offers one-to-one guidance tailored to their unique needs. Support spans five key areas: emotional wellbeing, social connection, practical assistance, resilience building, and moving forward. In addition, the foundation fosters advancements in paediatric oncology care, invests in professional development for healthcare providers, and supports vital research into childhood cancers.
This Christmas, the Moth Light team is honoured to support Child Cancer Foundation with a $1,000 donation. Our donation, made on behalf of our clients, contributes to the foundation’s essential work and their mission to ensure that no family faces childhood cancer alone.
Child Cancer Foundation operates without direct government funding and relies on the generosity of New Zealanders to raise $6 million annually to continue its critical work. Our donation helps ensure that Kiwi kids with cancer and their whānau receive the care and support they need.
